I received my Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Liberty University in Lynchberg, VA and I’m currently pursuing licensure with the State of Colorado. I love working with couples to resolve their “stuck places” and to create greater connection in their partnership.
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 34 years. My husband and I have parented four sons into adulthood, including a set of twins. Our daughter is currently in high school and is of Chinese heritage. My experience raising a large family informs my counsel to families needing encouragement or training throughout the many transitions of family life.
I believe that personal wholeness is only possible as we address the spiritual parts of our Self in addition to our body and soul. I approach life from a Christian worldview and I’m comfortable integrating Christian spirituality with psychology when the client prefers this approach. Yet, I’m also comfortable incorporating the client’s personal spiritual perspective when it differs from my own. I obtained a minor in world religions during my undergraduate work, which enables me to approach spiritual integration from many points of view.
